Dr. Pastor James David Manning reported yesterday (16 August 2011) that Air Force officials involuntarily changed  Staff Sergeant Moran’s duty status from “unauthorized absence” to an “on leave” status pending SSgt. Moran’s administrative separation.

    If it is true that SSgt Moran will be given an Honorable Discharge,it appears to me that the U.S.A.F has tacitly agreed that SSgt Moran is
    correct.Does this now mean that every service member will receive a “Get out of this war free card ? What about Lt. Col. Lakin ?
